Happy Color Creation Friday, everybody! Our next prompt is a really fun one. Create some of art of one of your local landmarks!
I challenged myself by recreating a historical site in my local area: the Strand movie theater, located in Brockport, New York. I made this design more minimal, removing the details of the theater's signage and movie displays, and also the street signs as well. This let me concentrate more on the significance of the structure and the importance of clean, straight edges, as well as the strong focus on the eye-catching colors of the building. This place still remains instantly recognizable.
Enjoy yourselves with this project, and I can't wait to see what you create!
